Dr. Sinoway is a lifelong resident of New Jersey. He graduated from Emory University of Atlanta in 1976 with a B.A. in Political Science. He attended law school at the University of Miami, graduating with a JD degree in 1979 and a Masters degree in Estate Planning in 1980.

Dr. Sinoway received his B.S. in Biology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1987. In 1990, He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed externships in pediatrics, contact lenses, and low vision. After graduation, he practiced as an associate in Somerville, New Jersey and Allentown, Pennsylvania for five years until starting Hunterdon Family Eye Care in 1995. Dr. Sinoway was inducted into the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society in 1989. He traveled to Mexico in 1990, and with other doctors, provided eye care to indigent residents. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New Jersey Society for Optometric Physicians, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

Dr. Devina Patel, O.D., F.A.A.O.

          Dr. Devina Patel is a graduate of The New England College of Optometry, from Boston, MA. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, double-majoring in Biology and Spanish Literature prior to moving up to Boston.

After four years of optometric training, Dr. Patel elected to complete and optional year of residency training in Ocular Disease at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Boston. She further trained outside the VA Hospital with retina, cornea and glaucoma specialists at well-known hospitals such as the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She also successfully completed external rotations at the Boston Foundation for Sight and The Laser Center.

Dr. Patel is an active member of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH). She has travelled with mission groups to countries such as El Salvador and the Dominican Republic in order to provide eye care services to individuals in poverty-stricken areas.

Dr. Patel is well known for being a well-rounded optometric physician. She looks forward to every patient encounter and is continuously seeking to be at the forefront of knowledge in order to better take care of her patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Patel is an avid reader. She also loves to travel and spend time with the family.
